Dear MOTH friends,
Dedicated to supporting the best of San Francisco Bay Area musicians, Music on the Hill has been presenting cutting-edge chamber music concerts since 1998. This 2025-2026 season is our 26th Year, and will be our 15th year at St. Aidan’s Church in Diamond Heights.
In October we welcome back composer and violinist Dan Flanagan with his new string quartet, Berkelium. The program will likely feature original works, with projections of historical paintings to enhance the music and create an exciting multimedia performance. In December, Ava & Friends with Michele Walthers, violin, Vicky Ehrlich, cello, and Ava Soifer, piano, will perform a sizzling concert of Eastern European music featuring works by Khachaturian, Kabalevsky, and Martinu. In Spring 2026, cellist James Jaffee brings us his Ensemble Rolland, performing a string quartet program TBD. We round out the season with the woodwind ensemble Avenue Winds performing a concert of 19th and 20th century French music.
The concerts at St. Aidan's will be 80-90 minutes of music, with an intermission. We will offer food and drink again, before the concert and during intermission.
Tickets will be sold online at Eventbrite for $25 each and we will have season tickets available at $75 for the 4 concerts of this upcoming season. Students 13-18 $15. Children 12 and under are free.
All concerts will start at 7:30pm!
We look forward to seeing you all!
